Street Cross-Sections

The study identifies potential ways to improve traffic flow and create more appealing, walkable places for several streets in the study area. These improvements are being suggested to create safer streets for pedestrians, cyclists and drivers.

Click on a street name to see more about how these streets might be redesigned over time. The City Council will have the final say over whether and how quickly this is implemented.

For each street, you’ll see three different views:

Existing conditions as the streets currently exist
Option 1 – Improvements made to the streets within the existing right of way, mainly looking at adjusting lane widths to make a more multi-modal street as a first step.
Option 2 – Complete rebuild of the streets, creating more walkable, multi-modal, functional, and safer streets
